A Little Hello

I was finally able to sit and create a new card today.

My sister sent me the designer cardstock in my "sister's day box". It came in a 60 sheet pack called "The Glitter Mat Stack" that is 4.5" x 6.5". It is fabulous...:)

The little purse i created using the punches i honestly can not take credit for making it, i saw it on a card that my sister received from a fellow stamper and i had to make one. Isn't it adorable??

My husband has been so busy working out in the yard and i have been spending more time outside with him that it explains my absence from my blog. There is so much work needing to be done!!

Because of a back injury that i have i am unable to help like i want too and it is frustrating but my amazing hubby has really out done himself by doing it all. He lets me supervise.............LOL I honestly keep thanking him over and over for all his hard work including hauling more soil & rock too.

This year we will now have a vegetable garden as well as a fruit garden (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries & rhubarb (did you know that is a vegetable??? Look it up!!)

So here is a card i have made for my Aunt who is very dear to my heart and with Mother's day coming i made this for her.

Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Vases in Vouge
Papers: Whisper White, Green Galore, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Glitter Mat Stack DP
Ink: StazOn Jet Balck, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana
Accessories: CB Folders, Ribbon, SU! Marker, Brad, Round Tab Punch, Sm & Lg Oval Punches, Circle Punch, Scallop Punch, Tag Corner Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

Thanks again for looking!! Enjoy your day wherever you may be.

My friend's husband is from Nova Scotia, Canada so when i was trying to decide on making his card i had "east coast" in my head.

Well the funny thing is when my hubby (who is also from there) saw this card he said it looks like "Peggy's Cove", so that gave it the name.

RIP Shadow

Today is a really hard day for my daughter & son-in-law after loosing their loving dog "Shadow". He unfortunatley had a "freak accident" and had to make the hard decision of putting him to sleep.
Today's challenge on SCS was color challenge so i thought these colors were perfect so i used them for my card.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Canine Capers & Canvas BG
Paper : Groovy Guava, Blush Blossom, Going Grey, Whisper White
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Craft Basic Black , Blush Blossom
Accessories: Ribbon, Copper Brad, EP, Scor-Pal, Spring Bouquet Punch, Scallop Punches, Round Punch, Round Tab Punch
I am really enjoying my Scor-Pal and i still wonder why i waited so long for this much needed tool. Best investment i have made. I used the Blush Blossom on the right panel but it doesn't show up on the picture.
Thanks for looking!!

It's Spring!!

So i decided to start off my blog with a Spring colored card since we are now into that time of year (thank goodness). Here on the West Coast we usually might see an inch or two of snow but not this year......we had a whole lot more and more often. I think everyone has seen a big change in their weather.
All products are Stampin' Up! excluding the butterfly. I picked that up a a local dollar store in a package of 6.
