GinaK "Peggy's Cove" Birthday Card

My friend's husband is from Nova Scotia, Canada so when i was trying to decide on making his card i had "east coast" in my head.

Well the funny thing is when my hubby (who is also from there) saw this card he said it looks like "Peggy's Cove", so that gave it the name.

We're flying to Nova Scotia in June and this is my first trip so i suppose that's why i had the thought since i am really getting excited!!

Recipe:

Stamps: GinaK stamps, SU! Itty Bitty BG, HA Little Shells
Papers: Close To Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Close To Cocoa, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue
Accessories: SU! Mat Pack, Brads, Pencil Crayons

RIP Shadow

Today is a really hard day for my daughter & son-in-law after loosing their loving dog "Shadow". He unfortunatley had a "freak accident" and had to make the hard decision of putting him to sleep.
Today's challenge on SCS was color challenge so i thought these colors were perfect so i used them for my card.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Canine Capers & Canvas BG
Paper : Groovy Guava, Blush Blossom, Going Grey, Whisper White
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Craft Basic Black , Blush Blossom
Accessories: Ribbon, Copper Brad, EP, Scor-Pal, Spring Bouquet Punch, Scallop Punches, Round Punch, Round Tab Punch
I am really enjoying my Scor-Pal and i still wonder why i waited so long for this much needed tool. Best investment i have made. I used the Blush Blossom on the right panel but it doesn't show up on the picture.
Thanks for looking!!

It's Spring!!

So i decided to start off my blog with a Spring colored card since we are now into that time of year (thank goodness). Here on the West Coast we usually might see an inch or two of snow but not this year......we had a whole lot more and more often. I think everyone has seen a big change in their weather.
All products are Stampin' Up! excluding the butterfly. I picked that up a a local dollar store in a package of 6.
